The Australian Research Grant-Writing Masterclass is a practical and interactive workshop designed to help researchers and research professionals develop stronger, more competitive Australian research grant applications.
Participants will explore how to interpret funding guidelines and assessment criteria, position a research idea against funding priorities, structure a clear and persuasive proposal, communicate research significance and impact, and strengthen the overall coherence of a funding application.
This grant-writing workshop combines workshop facilitator-led training, practical exercises, guided discussion and Q&A.
The workshop follows key stages of grant development: understanding the funding opportunity, building the research case, developing the proposal, communicating impact and translation, and strengthening the application before submission. Participants can apply key concepts and discuss questions relevant to their grant-development needs.
