At the Australia–International Collaborative Research Organisation (AICRO), we provide end-to-end advisory services that help our partners design, fund, and deliver research projects with impact.
Our role is to make collaboration between universities, industry, and government simple, effective, and aligned with both Australia’s national priorities and international opportunities.
We guide partners through every stage of the research and development process — from concept design to project completion — ensuring strong governance, competitive proposals, and measurable outcomes.
Funding Identification- We help identify and secure the most suitable opportunities, including ARC, NHMRC, MRFF, CRC programs, and Horizon Europe, ensuring projects are backed by sustainable investment.
Project Development- We define clear objectives, scope, and outcomes in consultation with researchers, industry leaders, and government stakeholders to ensure alignment with strategic needs.
Team Building- Our network connects leading academics with industry experts and policy partners, forming strong, competitive teams capable of delivering high-impact outcomes.
Co-Designed Proposals- We support the development of proposals that balance academic rigour with industry priorities and provide a clear roadmap for delivery and translation.
IP & Governance- We negotiate transparent intellectual property arrangements upfront, with ownership determined by contributions and in line with funding requirements.
Funding Submission- Our advisory team works closely with research offices to ensure efficient, compliant, and competitive submissions across national and international funding schemes.
Project Launch - Once agreements are in place, projects are launched through partner universities, industry facilities, and government agencies. AICRO coordinates milestones, reporting, and progress updates to keep delivery on track.
Project Completion & Impact- On completion, we ensure deliverables are reviewed, approved, and assessed for impact. We also facilitate discussions on outcomes, translation opportunities, and pathways for future collaboration.
