About the Program

The Australia–Arab Joint Research Table Discussions 2026 brought together university researchers and research leaders from Australia and the United Arab Emirates to explore opportunities for international research collaboration in artificial intelligence, healthcare innovation and related multidisciplinary fields.

The three-hour interactive roundtable provided a platform for researchers to introduce their organisations, share research expertise, identify complementary research interests and discuss potential opportunities for collaborative research projects.

Participants explored international research funding opportunities, joint research team development, institutional collaboration and student, researcher and academic exchange between Australian and UAE institutions.

The program encouraged researchers to identify shared research priorities, establish new professional connections and explore practical pathways towards developing joint research projects and future funding applications.

AICRO coordinated the event to facilitate international research connections and support potential collaborative research development in 2027 and beyond.

No formal presentations or slides were required. Participants were encouraged to contribute to interactive discussions and share relevant research interests.
